About This Course

Being aware of wellness and well-being has a critical and meaningful effect on every individual's life. It enhances healthy lifestyles, physical health and functional abilities and promotes recovery from illness. It also has important social benefits on educational attainment, economic productivity, social and family relationships, social cohesion, and overall quality of life across the entire population. Well-being is not just the absence of disease or illness. It's a complex combination of a person's physical, mental, emotional, and social health factors. Well-being is strongly linked to happiness and life satisfaction. In short, well-being could be described as how you feel about yourself and your life. In the light of all these, University of South Florida and Academia Central offer you the sessions of more than 50 experts from all over the world in 8 different sessions.

This free course, a joint effort between the University of South Florida. the Wellness and Wellbeing Summit, and the Academia Central will give you tools to answer these questions.

To finish this course, participants must view lectures in this 8 sections of the course. For each section , there will be a quiz in which the participants must achieve 70% or more to get a passing grade in each lecture.The participants can retake the quizzes if needed. 

The contents of this course is free of charge. However, if the participants would like to get a certificate from the University of South Florida with a Credly badge, they need to pay $109 certification fee.  The certificate version offers 2.0 CEUs, however it is up to the participants to check if these CEUs (2.0) are approved by other organizations
